Security

Malevolence

Security includes all the measures aimed at protecting against malicious intent.

Malevolence is a risk of human origin, resulting from a voluntary action or inaction, with the intention of harming a person, an organisation or property.

Unlike safety-related risks, the causes of which are accidental and therefore, by definition, unintentional, security is the result of malicious acts against people, property, buildings or information. Examples: attack, intrusion, sabotage, theft, assault, arson, etc.

Companies have an obligation to protect their employees in the course of their work by implementing human, organisational and technical resources.

Security objectives

The objectives of security are different from those of safety, and they can sometimes be divergents:
For fire protection and safety at work, guarantee that people can evacuate at all times.
For security, provide sufficient protection to prevent, limit or slow down a malicious action and therefore prevent people from entering the site and harming people and accessing valuables.

Our know-how and experience in occupational safety and fire protection allow us to achieve your security objectives while respecting the safety requirements that you must meet.

Our expertise

Our approach is based on the ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Process standard.
This standard provides principles, a framework and guidelines for managing any form of risk. This standard can be used by any type of organisation regardless of size, activity or sector. The ISO 31000:2018 standard provides an internationally recognized benchmark.

Our methodology is based on three levels:

1.

Policy
(risk management)

2.

Strategic
(security policies)

3.

Operations
(safety instructions)
